- Comment on the readability of this article.
This article was very easy to read and understand.
Autism and food allergies.
This article explained that autism can be cured if caught early by taking certain foods out
of their diet. It explains the Sage Test allowed discovery of common foods associated
with affecting autism in children as well as hyperactivity.
- Identify and attempt to explain three (3)
terms, procedures or concepts that were unfamiliar to you when reviewing this article.
1.
Autism can be controlled with diet, thus cutting out delayed food allergies.
2. Milk and wheat are the most common allergens associated with this.
3. The Sage Test is a multi-pathway delayed-food allergy test.
- Detail the strengths/weaknesses of this article.
The only strength I could find was that it is a very ‘easy read’. And if this article does hold true, then it really makes it easy for everyone to understand, I think that
almost any parent who reads this article can understand it because of the easy language in its content. Of course it also has typos which make it seem somewhat unreliable in my eyes. Also the author never cited any sources on where this information was coming from and didn’t
go into much depth so that the reader could believe his findings held truth.
- How might this article be useful to you in
your further studies and career?
It is something that I was unaware of. Anything
that brings an unknown knowledge to a person, especially a healthcare worker really helps us in diagnosing and finding the
underlying problem.
- Does the article include a list of references/citations
that can be used to find more information on the topics they cover?
No
